Bridgewater And The Colts Could Be Immediate Super Bowl Contenders

Finally, Chris Ballard and company have to feel good about the direction the Colts are heading. They also have to be excited about how much cap room they have to work with and the fact that they hold the No. 13 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Indianapolis looks to be a team that could end up taking a leap from missing the playoffs to contending for a championship.

The Colts making the upgrade from Brissett to Bridgewater would be a huge boost for their offense. Bridgewater would have solid weapons in T.Y. Hilton, Marlon Mack, Zach Pascal, and Jack Doyle to work with. Ballard could also go out and sign another starting wide receiver in free agency.

Both parties are ready to compete for a Super Bowl appearance. That is all the Colts have wanted since the days of Peyton Manning. Bridgewater might just be the guy to help them accomplish that goal.
