Hitting A Hard Reset Will Be A Clear Signal About the Direction of This Franchise
Ever since the Atlanta Falcons were winning 28-3 in the Super Bowl, the franchise has gone downhill. It has been hard for fans to enter the season with so much hope and then to have the team and coaching let them down on the field.
Although nobody likes to know their team is going through a rebuild, the knowledge of where they stand might be a welcome relief.
The Falcons will not be competing in the playoffs and likely have several years of bad to mediocre football ahead of them before they rise back up to compete on the biggest stage. Trading the Falcons’ legend in Julio Jones would help the whole fanbase reset and prepare for the upcoming struggles. Keeping him around would always allow the team to say that he could transform the offense and provide hope.
Don’t waste the last good years of Jones playing on a bad team. Allow him to compete and everyone to move on.
