Matthew Stafford has been mentioned in trade rumors over the last few weeks. While the Lions have denied that they are interested in trading the quarterback, many believe that Stafford could be interested in leaving town in the near future if things don’t start turning around.
In order to turn those things around, the Lions must get aggressive. They need a running back who can consistently take pressure off of Stafford.
Hunt was one of the top running backs in the league with the Kansas City Chiefs. He still has that talent ready to be shown in that right situation. Detroit can offer that situation and his presence would give the Lions the kind of legitimate running game that they have been needing for years.
