3 reasons the Lions should look to sign Kareem Hunt in free agency

2. The Lions Need A Dual-Threat Running Back

Detroit has had running backs who could run the football and catch the football, but they have never had one guy who could do both. That is where Kareem Hunt could completely change the game for Matt Patricia and company.

Hunt has been a legitimate dual-threat running back his whole career. That would open up the offensive playbook.

Speaking of taking pressure off of Stafford, how about giving him a running back he can dump the ball off to that is a threat to take it to the house anytime he touches it? Detroit should have major interest in that. Hunt would be exactly what the doctor ordered for the Lions’ offense.
