1. Kareem Hunt Is Still Capable Of Being A Superstar

Finally, Kareem Hunt still has the potential that made him a superstar with the Chiefs. He may have had some off-the-field issues, but his game is still intact. Detroit needs talent and Hunt checks that box without question.

It has been a long time since the Lions had a superstar at the running back position. Hunt could come in and immediately be a guy that rushes for 1,000 to 1,400 yards in a season. He could also catch over 60 passes for another 700 yards.

Add in the fact that Hunt is coming off of a roller coaster away from the game and his price tag won’t be at an elite level. Detroit could get him cheap and still get the superstar caliber production that they need.
