3 reasons the Packers and WR Randall Cobb should reunite

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

1. Matt LaFleur’s Offense Needs Randall Cobb

Finally, let’s take a look at how Cobb would fit in with the new offense that the Packers run under Matt LaFleur. Green Bay focused on getting the football out quickly in 2019, which is exactly what Cobb thrives doing. He can make plays in space and can run crisp routes that get him open across the middle.

Cobb would fit in as the slot wide receiver immediately. He would take a lot of pressure off of Davante Adams and would give Rodgers the kind of security blanket he needs.

There are very few receivers that would fit LaFleur’s system the way Cobb would. He would provide the missing skill-set that Green Bay needed last year. It makes so much sense for the Packers and Cobb to come back together.
