3. The Packers Can’t Afford Another Season Of Graham
While this point isn’t necessarily anything to do with Hunter Henry, the Packers cannot afford to play another year with Jimmy Graham as their starting tight end.
Green Bay’s offense would be much better with a more reliable tight end. Graham used to be one of the league’s best tight ends, but he is a shell of his former self. Aaron Rodgers needs a weapon at tight end.
Bringing in Henry would give the Packers the kind of player who could make plays down the field and as a security blanket. Green Bay needs to at least throw an offer at Henry, as he could be the missing piece the offense needs.
