3 reasons the Packers should make a play to sign Hunter Henry

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

1. Signing Henry Would Make The Packers Super Bowl Contenders

Even though they had a 13-3 record in 2019, no one really viewed the Packers as legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Many thought they were overrated, especially with how many ugly games they ended up winning throughout the year.

Henry may not be viewed as a “superstar” just yet, but he has that kind of talent. Signing Henry would make the Green Bay offense even more dangerous. That is what the Packers need.

Green Bay’s offense was decent and the play-calling seemed much better than in years past, but they weren’t able to be consistent. Davante Adams was the only legitimate threat week in and week out. Henry would change that and would help them take the leap needed to contend even more seriously in 2020 and moving forward.
