3 reasons the Patriots should consider trading for Jacoby Brissett

3. Jacoby Brissett Showed Great Things In 2019

Even though he has been receiving some heat from the Colts’ fan base since the end of the 2019 season, Brissett actually didn’t play bad. The Patriots should take a look at his production and feel comfortable that he could come in and be a solid starter for them.

During the 2019 season with the Colts, Brissett completed 60.8 percent of his pass attempts for 2,942 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just six interceptions. His ability to take care of the football would be a plus for the Patriots. In addition to that, he is also a mobile quarterback who can make plays with his legs.

New England can’t afford to miss on choosing their next quarterback. If they want to remain competitive, bringing in Brissett would be about as safe as it gets.
