1. New England’s Other Options Simply Aren’t Good

Finally, let’s be honest about this situation. New England’s rumored interest in Andy Dalton and Jameis Winston would be an absolute nightmare. Dalton is not a Super Bowl caliber quarterback and Winston’s turnovers and IQ would drive Belichick insane.

If there is one quarterback who can be good enough to win a Super Bowl and smart enough to learn from Belichick and McDaniels, that guy would be Brissett.

The Patriots cannot afford to mess this up. Staying in contention is obviously what they want to do. Jacoby Brissett can help them do that.
