Tom Brady is set to hit the open free agency market this offseason and there are many who legitimately think he will end up leaving the New England Patriots. With so many teams interested in him, the Las Vegas Raiders have been one of the most talked about potential destinations.

Granted, the Raiders would make a lot of sense for Brady. He would be able to play in Las Vegas and for a great and well-liked head coach in Jon Gruden. They have a lot of talent and would likely look to bring in much more talent if they signed Brady.

While the Raiders make sense for Brady, Brady simply doesn’t make sense for the Raiders. It is interesting to think about and some fans are getting lost in the idea of Brady coming to town. However, it would be a massive mistake for the franchise.

Last season with the Patriots, Brady completed 60.8 percent of his pass attempts for 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. It wasn’t a horrible season, but age has been showing a bit over the last couple seasons.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three obvious reasons why the Raiders should steer clear from Brady this offseason in free agency.

  1. How about the fact that Brady going to the Raiders never made sense, was not ever their idea, and was completely fabricated by the media! GO RAIDERS!!!

  2. Brady is the #1 NFL brand…Vegas is a new NFL city with a new stadium and trillions of dollars (yes with a T) on the line. Do the math. You need to stop thinking that wins and losses matter. The ONLY thing that matters is dollars.
