3 reasons the Rams should expect a bounce-back season from Todd Gurley in 2020

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

1. Another Full Offseason Will Work Wonders

This point goes for both the Rams’ coaching staff and Todd Gurley himself. Simply having another full offseason and seeing how Gurley reacts to this seasons workload will be huge as the team tries to balance how to use him.

Gurley is going to have a bigger role in 2020, there is no question about that. Los Angeles will come into next season with a different game plan. McVay is a genius on the offensive side of the ball and he will figure out how to get Gurley going again.

Another offseason of rest and working on getting healthy and strengthening the parts of his body that need it will be key for Gurley. He will be fresh heading into next season and will know exactly how his body reacts to a full season.

Los Angeles should be excited about Gurley in 2020.
