Cheap Contract
The New Orleans Saints are strapped for cash and still have nothing to show for it. A Super Bowl Championship has been the goal since the arrival of Drew Brees and one is not enough for a team loaded with talent on a yearly basis. While mistakes have been plentiful and maybe a missed call here or there, the front office has made their fair share of mistakes as well.
With such high-priced players, the Saints have put their trust on lower-level talent in hopes that surrounding them with players like Michael Thomas, Brees, and Alvin Kamara are enough. 10-win seasons and playoffs have been the norm but where is the real winning?
The last time Dez Bryant was in New Orleans, he inked a 1yr-$1.2M deal. Two years later and still no action in the league, the Saints can get away with a similar deal. Drafting a receiver is always an option but the Saints have had no real success in that department lately.
