3. Todd Gurley Is Still A Legitimate Superstar

Let’s not overreact to one down season from Todd Gurley. Yes, he struggled a bit in 2019 and his numbers were lower than usual. However, it wasn’t entirely his fault.

Sean McVay and the Rams played him in a very inconsistent role. At times, he was utilized like the workhorse he has been throughout his entire career. Other times, they barely used him at all.

Gurley may not be able to get back to being the player he was before his knee issues, but he needs to be given a consistent role. Tampa Bay should view him as an every down back with some time off here and there. There is no question that Gurley is still a superstar.
