In an expected, but sudden turn of events, the Los Angeles Rams chose to part ways with Todd Gurley. After five seasons of having one of the premier backs in the NFL, the Rams could be in the market to find Gurley’s replacement this offseason.

Following Gurley’s release, Darrell Henderson figures to be the starting running back for the Rams entering the 2020 season. While Malcolm Brown is expected to be Henderson’s backup, Los Angeles could choose to select one of the incoming prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft.

There’s no doubt that the situation with Gurley wasn’t handled well on the Rams part. Nevertheless, after his unfortunate departure, it’s crucial for Los Angeles to make sure they make the transition without him as seamless as possible.

Fortunately for Los Angeles, this year’s class of running backs features quite a few players that could fit well in Sean McVay’s offense. With that in mind, here are three running backs targets for the Rams in the 2020 NFL Draft.
