3 running back targets for the Rams in the 2020 NFL Draft

Zack Moss

To continue the theme of Pac-12 running backs, another option for the Rams in the mid-to-late rounds is Zack Moss. Unlike Kelley, Moss has a ton of tread on his tires after starting in three consecutive seasons at Utah.

Over the course of those three seasons, Moss amassed 3,685 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns. Also, Moss flashed some upside as a pass-catcher in 2019, hauling in 28 receptions for 388 yards and another two scores.

Similar to Kelley, Moss is more of a downhill, physical runner in an offense. Along with Kelley, Moss was another running back that piqued the interest of the Rams during the week of the NFL Combine, meeting with them to speak about the possibility of drafting him.

In the event that Los Angeles wants to find a power back to spell Henderson next season, they’d be hard-pressed to find a better one in the mid-to-late rounds than Moss.
