There’s no doubt that some fans in Tampa Bay that would love to have Swift, J.K. Dobbins, or Jonathan Taylor in the second round. But there’s one running back in particular that seems like a perfect fit for what Arians wants in a running back.

During the 2019 season, LSU’s offense was nearly unstoppable, with Joe Burrow putting together a truly historic season at quarterback. While Burrow was picking apart defenses with his arm, Clyde Edwards-Helaire went a bit under the radar this past season.

In his final season at LSU, Edwards-Helaire scampered for 1,414 yards and 16 touchdowns. The former Tiger also flashed upside as a receiver, catching 55 passes for 453 yards and another touchdown in 2019.

Edwards-Helaire is the perfect blend of toughness and elusiveness that could help him transition to the NFL better than most people think. In the event that the Buccaneers want to keep Jones involved in the offense, then Edwards-Helaire is the ideal running back to pair him with.
