3 running backs the Redskins could target in the NFL Draft

The Washington Redskins are a team that has an endless amount of needs on the roster that need to be addressed this offseason. With Ron Rivera becoming the Redskins next head coach, the team is assessing what to do at each position.

Even though some people wouldn’t view the running back position as a necessity for Washington, they appear interested in added someone to their backfield. Heading into next season, The Redskins currently feature a backfield with Adrian Peterson, Derrius Guice, and Bryce Love.

Not long ago, John Keim reported that the Redskins could target Kenyan Drake in free agency. Just a little over a week, free agency is set to begin and Washington could choose to make an offer to Drake.

If Washington insists on adding a running back, they should look in this year’s draft instead of spending money in free agency. With that being said, here are three running backs the Redskins could target in the 2020 NFL Draft.
