3 sleeper free agents the Green Bay Packers should look into

Mike Daniels, Packers

1. Mike Daniels, Defensive Tackle, Detroit Lions

Yes, we have talked directly in a separate article about why the Packers should consider a reunion with defensive tackle Mike Daniels. However, he is a free agency sleeper after a rough season with the Detroit Lions and would be a huge addition to the defensive front for Green Bay.

Daniels only played in nine games with the Lions last season. He compiled just 10 tackles and one sack. Despite his lack of production, the Packers should see if Daniels has interest in returning to Green Bay.

Kenny Clark is one of the best versatile defensive tackles in the game. However, he needs a better running mate on the line. Daniels would fill that role perfectly and would make the Green Bay defense even tougher to score against.

Mike Pettine would love having a talent like Daniels and it would make sense for both sides to come back together for another year or two.
