3 sleeper free agents the Redskins should target this offseason

Mackensie Alexander, Cornerback, Minnesota Vikings

Next up, the Redskins also have a need at the cornerback position. Mackensie Alexander would be an intriguing option for the Redskins to look into.

Last season with the Vikings, Alexander ended up with 38 total tackles to go along with 0.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, one interception, and five defended passes. He has even bigger potential if given the opportunity. In Rivera’s defensive system, Alexander could very well have a breakout season.

Alexander is going to be one of the sleeper cornerback targets for quite a few teams. He isn’t going to cost an arm and a leg and the Redskins should test the waters when the negotiating window opens.
