Antonio Gandy-Golden, Liberty
Finally, let’s go with a small school prospect in Liberty’s Antonio Gandy-Golden. He is projected to go in the third or fourth round and would be well worth a chance for the Broncos in that area of the draft.
Standing in at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, Gandy-Golden offers a ton of size. He also ran a 4.60 40-yard dash, which doesn’t scream speed, but his ability to run crisp routes and his build-up speed makes up for that.
Gandy-Golden racked up 79 receptions for 1,396 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. NFL.com has compared him to Miami Dolphins wideout DeVante Parker. That comparison certainly creates some intrigue.
A team like the Broncos would be an ideal landing spot for Gandy-Golden. He could come in and make an immediate impact, but he wouldn’t be asked to overdo himself. Gandy-Golden to Denver is something to keep an eye on.
