3 steps to a perfect offseason for the Chicago Bears

3. Commit To Mitchell Trubisky

First up, the Bears cannot afford to get caught up in the hype surrounding signing a veteran starting quarterback. Granted, Trubisky has to be better. Chicago cannot afford to have him play the same way he did in 2019.

However, moving on from Trubisky after just three seasons would be a massive mistake, especially with how much the Bears traded to get him. The talent is there, now it’s up to Trubisky and the coaching staff to get the most out of him.

Signing either Tom Brady or Philip Rivers would not make much of a long-term difference. Trubisky has a chance to be that guy for the Bears. They need to commit to him and give him a chance to prove all of his critics wrong.
