3 steps to a perfect offseason for the Chicago Bears

Blake Martinez, Packers, Bears

1. Steal Blake Martinez From The Packers In Free Agency

Finally, the Bears could use some help at linebacker. While they won’t have big money to spend this offseason, Blake Martinez may not be too rich for them. Being able to steal him from their arch-rivals would make this signing even sweeter.

Martinez put together a huge season for the Packers in 2019, racking up 155 total tackles to go along with three sacks, a forced fumble, an interception, and four defended passes. There are some concerns about his athleticism, but the Bears simply need a solid inside linebacker.

Chicago would be wise to go after Martinez this offseason. He would fit into Chuck Pagano’s system very well. This would be the most ideal free agency addition the Bears could make.
