3 steps to a perfect offseason for the New York Jets

The New York Jets suffered through a disappointing 2019 NFL season after receiving a ton of hype leading up to it. After going out and signing two stars in free agency in running back Le’Veon Bell and linebacker C.J. Mosley, the team ended up with a 7-9 record and they missed the playoffs once again.

Now, Adam Gase and company have the offseason to figure out what moves to make to get back into contention. It will be a very intriguing offseason to keep an eye on this team.

There were rumors all offseason long about unrest between Gase and different player. Sam Darnold missed a chunk of the season early on due to a battle with mono. Obviously, things just didn’t go according to plan.

New York has to turn things around this offseason. They have to add some pieces, but they also have to be careful about overreacting to 2019.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at three important steps the Jets must take to have a perfect offseason.
