The 2020 NFL Draft is undoubtedly going to contain some surprises in the first round due to the uncertainty surrounding what teams are planning to do. That means there are going to be players selected in the first round that not many people envisioned being taken on the first day of the NFL Draft.

At the beginning of the draft, it almost seems inevitable that Joe Burrow and Chase Young are going to be the first two players off of the board. However, from the No. 3 pick to the No. 32 pick, anything can happen once the NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday night.

Similar to most drafts, rumors have been running rampant in the days leading up to the NFL Draft. Just one trade could change the complexion of the first round, causing teams to adjust what they want to do.

As a result of the pre-draft process being skewed due to the coronavirus pandemic, some teams are going to select players that are going to turn heads in the first round. In light of that, here are three surprising players that could hear their name called in the first round of the NFL Draft.
