Jerry Jeudy
Sitting at the No. 13 pick, the 49ers could have an opportunity to snag one of the premier wide receiver prospects in this year’s draft. With the Arizona Cardinals trading for DeAndre Hopkins, it’s less likely they select a receiver with the No. 8 pick in the first round.
Also, there aren’t many teams that have the wide receiver position atop their needs that are on the clock before the 49ers. As a result, Jerry Jeudy could be a prospect that is on San Francisco’s radar now.
Jeudy is a cerebral route runner that can cause headaches for an opposing defense. In his final two seasons at Alabama, Jeudy hauled in a total of 145 receptions, 2,478 yards, and 24 touchdowns.
Considering Emmanuel Sanders is probably going to walk in free agency, the 49ers could add a polished receiver to a young receiving corps that features Deebo Samuel, Kendrick Bourne, and Jalen Hurd. There’s no doubt that Jeudy would be a phenomenal draft pick for Kyle Shanahan’s offense.
