CeeDee Lamb
Again, the 49ers could be interested in bulking up their receiving corps for next season. In the event that Jeudy is gone or they have their sights set on someone else, that someone else could be CeeDee Lamb.
While Lamb is also an underrated route runner, he excels when the ball is in his hands. Just this past season at Oklahoma, Lamb averaged 21.4 yards per reception (third-most in the nation).
The big-play wide receiver also has a knack at finding the end zone, scoring 32 touchdowns in his three seasons in college. Last offseason, the 49ers selected Samuel in the second round and Shanahan used him as a versatile weapon.
Even though Lamb wouldn’t be used similarly to Samuel, he would give San Francisco another threat in the aerial attack. An offensive trio of Samuel, Lamb, and George Kittle would give Jimmy Garoppolo plenty of firepower to succeed.
