3 teams who should trade up to draft QB Tua Tagovailoa

Before his hip injury last season, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was the unquestioned top QB prospect entering this year’s draft. The injury coupled with LSU’s Joe Burrow putting up historical numbers en route to a National Championship has pushed Tua down the draft board a bit.

But by no means should he be off anyone’s radar.

Tua draws comparisons to Russell Wilson for his pocket mobility and ability to throw from seemingly any position, as well as Drew Brees for his pinpoint accuracy.

If all his medicals clear, any quarterback-needy team would love to have Tua join their locker room. He still figures to be a top five pick, so unless the team is postured in that top five, trading up is probably the only way to have a chance at drafting Tua.

Here are three teams who should absolutely be trying to trade up to snag Tua in this year’s draft.
