3 teams who should consider trading down in the NFL Draft

Las Vegas Raiders

It’s clear the Las Vegas Raiders are in need of filling a variety of holes on their roster by the time the offseason is complete. One way to accomplish this would be to trade down with one of their two first-round selections to add more draft capital.

Something to consider, the Raiders may have the 12th and 19th picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, but they don’t have any selections in the second or fifth round. It would be logical for them to consider trying to add to their collection of picks beyond their current total of seven.

It’s quite common for draft experts to project the Raiders to select a wide receiver at No. 12. However, they shouldn’t feel compelled to do so given how this year’s receiver class is considered one of the deepest ever. A talented prospect could be picked later while adding more draft capital.
