3 things the Patriots must do to stay atop the AFC East

N’Keal Harry must step up

If the Patriots are going to go into next season with either Jerrett Stidham or Brian Hoyer as their signal callers, second year wideout N’Keal Harry must step up and prove he was worth the first round investment.

He finished his rookie campaign with just 12 catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Nothing to hang your hat on by any means.

He missed more than half the season due to injuries, so hopefully a full, healthy offseason will better prepare him for year two. But nonetheless, if this offense has any hope of scoring some points next year, Harry needs to be a dependable receiver for offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

Edelman is a proven commodity in the slot, and Mohamed Sanu should also benefit from a full offseason with the team and provide some better production next year. Harry could make this a very solid wide receiver group if he plays up to his ability next season.
