2. Finding A Replacement For Jimmy Graham
Next up, the Packers are expected to release veteran tight end Jimmy Graham this offseason. He showed flashes of playmaking ability in 2019, but it wasn’t enough to keep him around for the kind of money he will make. Green Bay needs to move on from him and find a replacement.
That replacement could very well be on their roster already. Green Bay spent a draft pick on Jace Sternberger last offseason and they were very high on him all year long. He didn’t have much of a chance to play and develop on the field, but there is big-time potential with him.
Green Bay could also go out and look at the free agency market or in the NFL Draft. A guy like Thaddeus Moss or Brycen Hopkins could be a perfect fit in the draft.
No matter what route the Packers choose to go, finding a replacement for Graham should be one of their top priorities.
