Was a team captain for the Browns

After establishing himself in the NFL for the first two seasons of his career, Christian Kirksey managed to earn full-time starting role. In addition, he was named one of the team’s captains and played a key role as a leader in the locker room.

In 2017, his last full season with the Browns, Kirksey racked up an impressive 138 tackles, 3.5 sacks, six tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. That was a follow up to a 2016 campaign that featured figures of 148 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, and three pass breakups.

From an on-field production standpoint, Kirksey is an every down linebacker and a big hitter that thrives at stopping the run that will provide a boost to the Packers. He is effective at rushing the passer and is at least capable of playing in pass coverage.
