3. Trade Back From No. 30 Overall

One potential and real possibility for the Packers could be trading out of the first round. Late in the first round, there could be a quarterback available that another team will want to move up from early in the second round to get.

Green Bay could move back with a team like the Indianapolis Colts to the No. 34 overall pick. With that second-round selection, the Packers could very well have a chance at a wide receiver like Clemson’s Tee Higgins or Baylor’s Denzel Mims. They would also get another asset for the move back.

Gutekunst loves to acquire assets and trading back would be the best way to make that happen. Fans never like seeing their team trade out of the first round, but the Packers are likely going to seriously consider that option.
