Justin Jefferson

Throughout the 2019 season, LSU’s offense was unstoppable en route to a National Championship over Clemson. While Joe Burrow had a historic season under center, Justin Jefferson was remarkable in the aerial attack.

To finish his collegiate career at LSU, Jefferson hauled in an impressive 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2019. During his time in college, Jefferson was a polished route runner that did most of his damage out of the slot.

At the same time, Jefferson has a skill set that could probably still succeed on the outside. But there’s no doubt whichever team drafts him will use him in the slot the majority of the time.

With Carson Wentz as the face of the franchise, the Eagles need to surround him with more weapons. If Philadelphia wants a sure-handed wideout that excels out of the slot, then Jefferson is an ideal choice in the first round.
