2. Tyler Johnson, Minnesota Golden Gophers
Another option for the Giants, likely in the third round of the NFL Draft, would be Minnesota’s Tyler Johnson. He is one of the most underrated receivers in the entire draft class.
Johnson caught 86 passes for 1,318 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2019. He averaged a solid 15.3 yards per reception. At 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, Johnson has solid size and is a great route-runner as well.
NFL.com currently has compared Johnson to New England Patriots talented receiver Jakobi Meyers. While that comparison isn’t 100 percent clear yet, it shows talent. The Giants should absolutely take a look at him if he is available in the third round.
