3 wide receivers the Redskins could target in the third round

Van Jefferson, Buccaneers, NFL Draft

3. Van Jefferson, Florida Gators

Van Jefferson isn’t a name that has been talked about much throughout the pre-draft process, but the Redskins could take a long look at him. The Florida standout isn’t a top-notch target and he may be a bit of a project, but he might be worth a shot here.

During the 2019 season with the Gators, Jefferson caught 49 passes for 657 yards and six touchdowns. The numbers don’t look amazing, but he has big potential at the slot wide receiver position.

He comes from a football family and his father was an NFL receiver and NFL receivers coach. Jefferson is a solid all-around player and could be a nice fit in the Redskins’ offense.
