The Atlanta Falcons were a Super Bowl contender just a few short years ago. In fact, they looked headed for an easy Super Bowl win before choking the big game away after leading 28-3 over the New England Patriots. Now, the franchise is in a very difficult situation.

Dan Quinn and company are coming off of a season that saw them miss the playoffs. They showed signs of life late in the year, but it was too little too late.

Heading into the NFL offseason, the Falcons know that they cannot stand pat and head into 2020 with the same roster. A re-tooling will be needed at the very least. Atlanta will have some tough decisions to make.

Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have been the faces of the Falcons for years. They have been one of the NFL’s top quarterback-wide receiver duos. They now need the franchise to go out and get them more help.
