2. The Falcons Acquire Browns Tight End David Njoku
Granted, this is a very specific move, but it is one that makes sense. With Austin Hooper likely on his way out of town this offseason in free agency, the Falcons will need to bring in a new tight end. The Browns, on the other hand, will be open to some roster turnover after missing the playoffs in 2019.
David Njoku was a major breakout candidate ahead of the 2019 season. Those dreams were cut short when he suffered what ended up being a season-ending injury four games into the year. Njoku ended up catching five passes for 41 yards and a touchdown.
The Falcons aren’t going to spend big money on the tight end position. Acquiring Njoku from the Browns would only require a fifth or sixth-round pick. That kind of value is something the Falcons should jump on.
