The Chicago Bears entered the 2019 NFL season with Super Bowl aspirations and a ton of hype. Fans could not have been more excited for the season to kick off after a big 2018 season that saw the Bears end up being one of the top teams in the NFC. Unfortunately, the season did not go according to plan.

When everything was said and done, Chicago ended up with an 8-8 record. They missed the playoffs and are back to the drawing board when it comes to figure out how to compete.

Mitchell Trubisky took a big step back for the majority of the season. He did not look like a true franchise quarterback and there are quite a few questions surrounding the direction the Bears should head in at quarterback. Matt Nagy also received some heat after a rough season of coaching.

Defensively, the Bears are still one of the top units in the NFL. Led by Khalil Mack, they are a team that opponents have nightmares about.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four bold offseason predictions for the Bears.
