3. The Jets Snag Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy In The NFL Draft
One of the main positions of need for the Jets this offseason is wide receiver. Sam Darnold needs more weapons to work with and New York will get him one with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Alabama standout Jerry Jeudy is widely viewed as the top wide receiver in the draft class. New York could decide to go a different direction, but drafting Jeudy makes too much sense. In 2019 with the Crimson Tide, Jeudy caught 77 passes for 1,163 yards and 10 touchdowns.
New York cannot afford to pass up on a potential No. 1 target like Jeudy. They have been needing a big threat at wide receiver for quite some time and this move will get them just that.
