Finally, the Jets are going to look to spend more money this offseason. They need to improve their secondary and Byron Jones is widely viewed as the best cornerback on the market.

Jones did not put up great production in 2019 with the Dallas Cowboys. He ended the season with 46 total tackles, a forced fumble, and six defended passes. The lack of interceptions is a bit of a concern.

Despite the concerns, the Jets know they need to upgrade the cornerback position. Spending the money on Jones is something the franchise will take a chance on.
