4 bold offseason predictions for the Tennessee Titans

Titans trade out of the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft

Nearly two months from now, the 2020 NFL Draft will be getting underway in Las Vegas. After falling short in the AFC Championship Game, the Titans currently have the No. 29 pick in the first round of the draft.

Similar to most teams, there are a few directions that Tennessee could go in the first round. Amid the options they’ll have, trading out of the first round could be one of the most logical decisions.

When the Titans are on the clock with the 29th overall pick, there’s a chance that the guy they want is either already taken, or can be had early in the second round. Why not compile more draft capital for the second day of the draft?

Of course, for the Titans to move out of the first round, they would need to find a team that has an early second-round pick to do business with. If there is a team that is willing to trade a couple of picks to get into the first round, Tennessee won’t be selecting a player on the first day of the draft.
