4. Carson Wentz Continues Struggling
The Eagles are hoping to see their quarterback turn things around this week, but unfortunately that won’t be the case. Wentz will continue struggling, although he will look better than he has in the first two weeks of the season.
Wentz simply won’t have the offense playing at a dynamic level. He will throw for 200 yards, one touchdown, and an interception. Jalen Hurts could see some playing time, but another rough game will put Wentz on the hot seat for the starting job.
3. The Defense Rises To The Occasion
With the offense not showing up once again, the Eagles will need their defense to step up in a big way. Thankfully, Darius Slay and company will do just that against rookie quarterback Joe Burrow.
They will put pressure on Burrow all game long and the secondary will make enough plays to force a couple of turnovers. Slay himself will force an interception. Burrow is a future superstar, but the Eagles will get the best of him this week.
