T.Y. Hilton Puts Together Strong Rebound Performance
T.Y. Hilton has been a star number one wide receiver for the Colts since 2012. However, he has struggled to form a good connection with Philip Rivers. Hilton had his best game last week versus the Jets, but only cashed in 53 yards.
The Bears have a Pro Bowl safety and cornerback with Eddie Jackson and Kyle Fuller but allowed Calvin Ridley to score over 110 yards on only five receptions in Week 3. So, Chicago’s pass coverage can be exploited for some strong individual performances.
Something to consider, Hilton is shaking off the rust and still is developing a relationship with Rivers. He was recently called out by his grandmother for his poor recent play– so we will have to see if that helps give him a spark.
Hilton is out to prove that he’s still a true No. 1 receiver and will do that this week. The Colts will need him to accomplish this when considering Michael Pittman Jr. and Parris Campbell will be sidelined due to injury.
