Chiefs Solidify Themselves As Top Team In AFC

Coming into the season, the Chiefs and Ravens were considered the top dogs in the AFC. The Chiefs got the job done in the head-to-head matchup. Taking down another powerhouse in the conference would solidify the Chiefs as the team to beat.

As if a Super Bowl championship last season did not already do this. The AFC is loaded this season with teams like the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tennessee Titans. The way it looks, the AFC champion will have to go through Arrowhead.

On the other hand, this is a chance for the Patriots to show the league that the loss of Brady did not end the dynasty. This is an extremely intriguing matchup early in the season.

The smart money is on Kansas City. They have everything clicking early on. This is another instance where the Chiefs will have a chance to flex their muscles.
