Saints’ Defense Will Force Over 2 Turnovers

In 2 of 3 games for the Detroit Lions, Matthew Stafford was forced into throwing an interception. The Saints defense on the other hand, has not been able to force an interception since Week 1 where they intercepted Tom Brady twice, one of them being returned for a touchdown.

Teams who win the turnover differential typically win the game and if not, they are at least giving themselves a chance of winning the game. The Saints defense has not been opportunistic and has not been able to create extra opportunities for the offense.

The Saints have one of the better defenses in the league. Up front, they are led by DE Cameron Jordan, in the middle level they have LB Demario Davis and in the secondary, they have CB Marshon Lattimore and S Malcolm Jenkins.

This defense is too talented to not be forcing turnovers. This week, while I expect a big game from the offense, I also expect the defense to cause some turnovers in helping the Saints win big in this one.
