Eagles Will Pick Up Their First Victory Of The Year

I do not think many people would have predicted the Philadelphia Eagles as a winless team heading into the month of October. The new look Eagles were playing sharp in their season opener against the Washington Football Team, but blew a large lead in the second half to be handed their first loss of the year.

In Week 2, the Eagles pinned themselves against the wall with a poor start against the Los Angeles Rams. They showed us that tough Philly spirit by storming back into the game and almost taking the lead if it weren’t for QB Carson Wentz, throwing an interception. In Week 3, back at home in what many thought would be a “pick-me-up” game for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Cincinnati Bengals, they tied.

The good news for the Eagles is that last year they started off poorly and found a way to bounce back. But, last year they had somewhat of an excuse as they were dealing with many injuries. This year, QB Carson Wentz seems to be regressing as week after week he makes poor decisions with the football.

But, they are facing a 49ers team who will be without their best defensive player in DE Nick Bosa. DE Solomon Thomas and CB Richard Sherman will also be inactive for this game.

I see the Eagles shocking he world and picking up a victory over the injury riddled San Francisco 49ers.
