Jalen Hurts Will Throw His First Touchdown Pass

Many heads were turned when the Philadelphia Eagles drafted Oklahoma quarter back, Jalen Hurts. With Carson Wentz being their franchise guy, most could not comprehend why they would bring in Hurts. Maybe the Eagles see something we don’t and have something up their sleeve. But, thus far, Hurts has been mainly featured on the sidelines.

With the poor play of Wentz, many have been calling for Hurts to get some playing time on the field. But, with the season still being young, the Eagles need to stick to using Hurts in trick situations.

On Sunday Night Football, I have Jalen Hurts recording his first touchdown pass of his career. Similarly to how the Saints use Taysom Hill down at the Red Zone, I expect the Eagles to do the same with Jalen Hurts.

Even in the early stages of LaMar Jackson’s career, he was only used for trick plays. Hurts, who has shown off his strong arm in college can be useful and effective for this Eagles team, especially since their offense is struggling. With almost no alternative, the Eagles need to try something tricky. Something along the lines of “Philly Special” that can galvanize their fan base and bring this team together.
