4 bold predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 vs. 49ers

Zach Ertz Will Have Over 100 Receiving Yards

Zach Ertz has been way to quiet this season for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is their best offensive threat and is Wentz’ favorite target.

But, on the season he isn’t even leading the team in receiving yards. His backup, Dallas Goedert, is the leading receiver with 138 yards. Ertz falls right behind him with 135 yards and has been targeted the most. Ertz is averaging 5 targets a game and does not seem nearly enough for someone of his caliber.

His counterpart on Sunday night will be TE George Kittle, who many feel is the best tight end in all of football. I expect these two to battle it out on national television fighting for the title of “Best TE in the NFL”.

The 49ers pass defense is stout as they are currently only allowing 187.3 yards per game through the air. Against a struggling Eagle offense, that could potentially spell disaster, but with their backs up against the wall, I expect Philly to give it everything they got.

The Philadelphia spirit will be displayed on Sunday night. Nothing is more dangerous than a desperate man and right now, the Philadelphia Eagles are fighting to keep their season alive.
