4. Derek Carr Continues His Impressive Season
Coming into the 2020 NFL season, there were a ton of questions surrounding Derek Carr. Was he the long-term quarterback of the Raiders still? Could he turn things around and come through with a big year?
Through two weeks, Carr has completed 73.5 percent of his passes for 521 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. He will continue his impressive season against the Patriots. Carr will rack up 275 passing yards, three more touchdowns, and will not throw a single interception once again.
3. The Raiders Shut Down Cam Newton On The Ground
Newton has been an absolute monster on the ground in his first two games with the Patriots. He has racked up 122 yards and four touchdowns on 26 attempts, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Las Vegas will focus on taking that away this week.
While the Patriots will find some success through the air, the Raiders will shut down Newton’s ability to impact the game with his legs. He may score a short touchdown on the ground, but will be held to under 15 rushing yards. That will be a major key to beating the Patriots.
